Dr. Kopman is a board-certified periodontist and implant surgeon with more than 25 years of specialty private-practice experience.

He completed his specialty training in Periodontology and earned a Master of Medical Sciences degree in Oral Biology at Harvard School of Dental Medicine after receiving his DDS degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine.

He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and serves as Clinical Associate Professor at Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine.

His clinical practice includes periodontal therapy, dental implant surgery, regenerative procedures, bone and soft-tissue grafting, treatment of peri-implant disease, and complex interdisciplinary treatment planning.

Dr. Kopman has reviewed more than 20 expert matters and has experience providing testimony at trial.
